CAIRO – 4 July 2017: At the press conference, the Libyan military spokesman displayed a documentary on the Qatari role in Libya. “Qatar has several supply lines in Libya. It supplies terrorist Ali Al Salabi, who is the leader of Al Qaeda in Libya, with shipments of weapons,” he said.

Salabi, who is in Qatar, sends the weapons to his brother Ismail in Libya to be sent to Al Qaeda in Benghazi and to the Benghazi defense brigades, he said.

The spokesman also displayed a documentary showing a Qatar-flagged car fighting with Ansar Al Sharia in central Benghazi against the Libyan special forces in 2014.

"When the Armed Forces advanced in Benghazi, they found more than 20 cameras used for spying on the troops and Chinese-made anti-aircraft rockets," he added.
