CAIRO – 9 April 2021: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received on Friday his Tunisian counterpart, Kais Saied, in Cairo International Airport, Egyptian Presidential spokesman, Bassam Radi, said.

Saied is making an official three-day visit to Egypt that lasts until April 11. It is the first time for Saied to visit Egypt.

“An Egyptian-Tunisian summit will be held on Saturday in [the presidential] Al-Ittihadiya Palace,” Radi said.

He added that the summit between Sisi and Saied will discuss regional and international issues of mutual concern.

They will also discuss means to enhance bilateral relations and joint cooperation in all fields, especially in security, economy and investments, Radi added.
