This came during Conde's receiving of Egyptian Ambassador to Guinea Tamer Kamal El Melegy in Conakry.

The Guinean leader hailed the Egyptian support for his country in all domains.

In his remarks, Conde expressed support for the Egyptian companies working in development projects in Guinea including energy and agricultural projects in light of the expertise and the potentials the Egyptian companies enjoy.

"Egypt and Guinea see eye to eye about issues of mutual concern," he said, praising political cooperation and coordination between the two countries at regional and international gatherings.

For his part, the Egyptian diplomat Tamer Kamal El Melegy pointed out to the presence of huge chances "for increasing economic cooperation between the two countries," as he pointed out that the Egyptian companies have huge potentials and expertise enabling them to carry out mega projects in Guinea.

Melegy expressed Egypt's keenness on pursuing support to African countries including Guinea to achieve sustainable development goals and promote joint African action.
