CAPMAS said that the indices of manufacture of readymade garments, machinery and equipment, and pharmaceutical products recorded on a month-on-month basis an increase of 30.4 percent, 25 percent and 19.8 percent, respectively.
The manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations index reached 150.03 points in April 2018, compared to 125.54 points in March 2018, according to CAPMAS.
CAPMAS attributed this rise to the high supply contracts for the electrical appliance industry and the production of the beverage industry.
