CAIRO - 26 November 2017: An Australian media delegation finished shooting a documentary about Aswan to promote tourism, on Sunday.

The film will be broadcasted on April 2018 in Australia and several European countries. It is expected that at least 3 million people will watch the documentary, according to Ahmed Ali Obeid, who is responsible for the press center of foreign correspondents in Aswan.

Obeid added that the delegation took pictures of various tourist sites in Aswan, including Philae Temple, Nubian villages, the Nile and its islands and the view of the sunrise and sunset from the King Farouk Hotel.

He pointed out that the film cast includes Australian director and producer Rochelle Martin, broadcaster Catriona Rowntree from the famous program “Getaway” on Channel Nine, the photographer Gilbert Farkas and sound engineer Gary Lacroix.
