Walk Like an Egyptian tour in old Cairo

CAIRO - 10 July 2017:- The Walk Like An Egyptian group went for a three kilometer walk from gate to gate in old Cairo last Friday at 5 a.m.

The walk began in the morning so that participants can enjoy the serenity of the sunrise and with an authentic breakfast and tea. The walk is both informative and compassionate.

It started at Bab Zueila, up to Bab Futuh before walking alongside the wall of Fatimid Cairo before returning through Bab al-Nasr to Hussein Mosque.

“Exploring the beauty of Fatimid/Islamic Cairo on early Friday morning was worth waking up at 5 a.m.,” participants stated on the event’s page
