CAIRO-19 February 2021: Al Ahly first-team delegation left Cairo on Friday for Tanzania as the Red Devils are set to face local giants, Simba, in the second round of the CAF Champions League group stage.

Al Ahly’s head coach Pitso Mosimane included 22 players in his squad that travelled to Tanzania.

Here is Al Ahly’s squad for the match:

Goalkeepers:
Mohamed El Shenawy, Ali Lotfy, Hamza Alaa, Mostafa Shobeir,

Defenders:
Mahmoud Wahid, Mohamed Hany, Ahmed Ramadan Beckham, Ayman Ashraf, Yasser Ibrahim, Badr Benoun, Ali Maaloul, Saad Samir, Ramy Rabia,

Midfeilders:
Akram Tawfik, Hamdy Fathy, Amr El Soulia, Aliou Dieng, Afsha,

Strikers:
Kahraba, Bwalya, Junior Ajayi and Marwan Mohsen.

Al Ahly had a strong start to the group stage with a 3-0 win over Sudan’s Al Merrikh last Tuesday.

Mohamed Magdy Afsha opened the score for the Red Devils while Mahmoud Kharaba and Walter Bwalya scored the second and third goals respectively.

The game is scheduled on Tuesday at 3:00 pm (Cairo Time).
