CAIRO – 29 June 2017: Zamalek football team arrived in Zimbabwe on Thursday ahead of their match against CAPS United in the CAF Champions' League group stages on July 2 at 3 p.m. (Cairo time).

According to the club’s official website, Zamalek arrived in Zimbabwe after a long trip that lasted for 12 hours. The team was welcomed in Zimbabwe by Hany Zada, one of Zamalek’s board members.

Zamalek will be looking for a victory against Caps United in order to keep their chance to qualify to the next round of the CAF Champions League.

Zamalek’s group’s standings are as follows: USM Alger from Algeria is in first place in the group with 7 points, while Al Ahli Tripoli from Libya is second, also with 7 points. Zamalek SC from Egypt is third with 5 points and CAPS United from Zimbabwe is last with 3 points.
