Al-Ahly signs Abdel Salem

CAIRO – 23 June 2017: Al-Ahly SC announced the signing of the volleyball player Abdallah Abdel Salem on June 22.

According to Al-Ahly Official website, Marwan Hesham one of the board members in Al-Ahly announced that Abdallah Abdel Salem signed to Al-Ahly and he will be an important player for the team next season.

Talking to Al-Ahly official website Abdel Salem said, “Al-Ahly is where I began my career and I am pleased to come back. I hope that we win all of the titles next season.”

Abdel Salem is considered to be one of the best Egyptian players to play volleyball;

featured many times for the Egyptian National team. Also, according to the African Volleyball Confederation’s website, Abdel Salem is considered to be the first Egyptian Volleyball player to win the Volleyball European Championship while playing for the Italian club Treviso.
