CAIRO –19 June 2017: Sherine Shams, the executive director of Al-Ahly club, spoke to officials from the Moroccan Wydad Athletic club and the Confederation of African Football on Monday to discuss allocated seating for Ahly fans in their upcoming match against Wydad.

According to Ahly’s website, Shams refused Wydad’s offer of 10 tickets, demanding reciprocity for the 40 tickets Ahly had issued to Wydad officials during the first leg of the two-game match held at Borg El Arab stadium in Alexandria.

The Ahly-Wydad match is scheduled for Wednesday.

A Wydad delegate confirmed the presence of 45,000 fans in the stadium in the second leg of the game, in the 16th round of the CAF African Champions League.
Ahly leads group D with seven points, Zanaco FC is in second place also with seven points but Ahly has a greater goal difference.

Wydad occupies third place with three points and the Cameroonian Coton Sport FC is in the bottom of the group with no points, having lost all three games played so far, according to the CAF official website.
