CAIRO -14 June 2017: Sunday England’s U20 won the U20 World Cup in South Korea, where England won in a final 1-0 victory over Venezuela.

English U20 team ended 51 years of English fans suffering on International football stage. English players Wayne Rooney, Harry kane, and former English players Garry Lineker, Jamie Carragher and Alan Shearer all sent congratulations on the achievement through Twitter accounts.















English manager Gareth Southgate said “It's been a brilliant experience to follow from afar... I can only say "well done." You've done yourselves proud and your families.
'You can see that the country have taken note. You've raised the bar for everybody. You've given everyone who follows you now something to aim for. You should enjoy it. Many congratulations from all of us at the senior team in France,” according to dailymail.com

England first team will face France next Tuesday in a friendly match in France.
England’s last achievement on the International level came during the 1966 world cup winning at home.
