CAIRO – 10 June 2017: The International Spanish and Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata agreed to join Manchester United in the current transfer window and is waiting for negotiations between the two teams about the fee, the Telegraph reported on Friday.

United have made the Spanish striker their best choice to replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic after his injury, Morata told friends that he expects to play at the Old Trafford Manchester United’s stadium next season and he can’t wait to join Jose Mourinho’s squad.

He thinks that joining United as a first team striker will guarantee him a position in the Spanish national team in the upcoming FIFA 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Morata’s agent confirmed that his client needs a club where Alvaro’s first team place is reserved after starting only in 14 La Liga matches with Real Madrid.

AC Milan has set the 24-year-old striker Morata as one of their targets for the current transfer window but Morata replied: “It's hard to imagine going back to Italy, despite my experience in Serie A being extraordinary. The only club for me in Italy is Juventus”, according to the Telegraph.
