Exclusive: Kromkamps to Salah: Say YES to Liverpool!

CAIRO – 6 June 2017: Mohamed Salah, part of the Egyptian national team and a player for Italian club A.S. Roma, is the soon-to-be newest addition to Liverpool's squad. Egypt Today asked a former Liverpool star for his opinion on the deal.

Jan Kromkamp, former Liverpool and Netherlands international defender, said, "I don't really follow international football, so I can't honestly tell if it's a good deal for Liverpool." Kromkap appeared to be reserving judgment regarding Salah’s skill as a player.

"What I do know is that if Mohamed Salah has a chance to play for Liverpool he should always say YES!" added Kromkamp, who said that for a rising star such as Salah, playing for Liverpool is a chance he should not pass up.

"Liverpool's a fantastic club with fantastic supporters,” said the former player. “Once you're part of Liverpool, you'll be forever a Liverpulian."

He was sure that joining Liverpool would be an excellent choice for any player and would have a positive, lasting effect on his career.
