CAIRO – 20 February 2019 : Zamalek manager, Christian Gross, picked Mahmoud Hamdy known as El Wensh to replace his first choice defender, Mahmoud Alaa, against El Gaish.
Alaa misses the game after he suffered an injury during the team 2-1 victory over Enppi at the League on Sunday.
Gross’ chosen starting line-up consists of: Mahmoud Gennesh, Mohamed Abdel Ghany, Hamdi Nagguez, Abdallah Gomaa, Mahmoud Hamdy, Tarek Hamed, Fergani Sassi, Youssef Obama, Ibrahim Hassan, Mahmoud Kahraba and Khaled Boutayeb.
On the other hand, El Geish manager, Luc Eymael’s chosen squad for the game consists of: Mohamed Bassam, Asem Salah, Ahmed Samy, Khaled Stouhy, Eslam Serry, Ahmed Samir, Karim tarek, Mohamed Rezk, Eslam Gamal, Ahmed Gaafar and Richard Boro.
Zamalek players hope to continue their amazing run at the League after they reached 18th consecutive game without a loss.
Zamalek are leading the Egyptian League table with 51 points from 20 games and they are six points ahead of the second placed, Pyramids, who played 23 games.
