CAIRO – 4 February 2019: Liverpool Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, won the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) Fans’ Player of the Month Award for January.
Salah, 26, won the award for the second consecutive time this season as he won the award in December.
Salah scored three goals for Liverpool in January, the first granted Liverpool the victory over Brighton and Hove Albion while the other two goals were against Crystal Palace.
The Egyptian winger was nominated for the award alongside David De Gea, Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba of Manchester United, Manchester City’s Leroy Sane and Troy Deeney of Watford.
Salah and his teammates will face West Ham United in London at the Premier League on Monday night.
The visitors aim to gain the three points to return to the right track after losing two points at home against Leicester City last week.
Salah is leading the race for Premier League Top Scorer as he scored 16 goals, one goal ahead of Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who scored 15.
Liverpool is leading the Premier League table with 61 points, two points ahead of the defending champions, Manchester City.
