CAIRO – 21 November 2018: Egyptian national team Mexican manager, Javier Aguirre, revealed on Tuesday that he does not believe that the team has a problem at the attacking line.He also praised his first choice striker, Marwan Mohsen.

“We scored three goals against Tunisia which is not easy. We do not have any problem at the striker position," Aguirre saidduring an interview with ONSPORT.

Egypt defeated Tunisia 3-2 on Friday at the 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifiers. Egypt's left winger, Mahmoud Hassan known as Trezeguet, scored the first goal; the team defender, BaherMohmad, scored the second; and the right winger, Mohamed Salah, scored the third goal.

The Mexican added “At the World Cup, Marwan Mohsen had an extraordinary tournament and was one of the best players in the team. He is the best striker in Egypt.”

Mohsen played Egypt’s three games at the World Cup but he failed to score for the team.

Aguirre led the national team to reach the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Cameroon after achieving four consecutive victories over Niger at home, eSwatini at home, eSwatini away and Tunisia at home.
