CAIRO – 29 May 2017: Al-Ahly and Masr Al-Makassa team squads held a moment of silent before their Premier League game which is currently taking place at the army stadium in Suez, in commemoration of the victims of the bus shooting at Minya governate.

On Friday morning, unidentified gunmen opened fire at a bus carrying more than 50 Christians on the desert road between Minya and Beni Suef, killing at least 29 dead and 24 wounded. Islamic State (IS) terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attack.

The current Premier League leaders Al-Ahly SC hopes to clinch only one point from today’s clash with the second-placed Masr Al-Makassa to officially secure the premier league title.

Al-Ahly stands on the top with 58 points, while Masr al-Makassa sits second with 51 points.
