CAIRO – 15 November 2018: The agent of Zamalek winger Mahmoud Abdel Mon'em known as Kahraba, Ahmed Yehia, denied on Wednesday rumors that linked the winger to a move to Zamalek arch rivals, Al-Ahly.

“We never negotiated with Al-Ahly and we have no intention to do that. Kahraba wants to stay with Zamlek,” Yehia told Filgoal.com on Wednesday.

The Egyptian winger joined Zamalek in 2015 from Enppi and he led the team to achieve the Egyptian Cup at his first season with the team.

The winger left Zamalek in 2016 and joined Saudi Arabian giants, Al-Ittihad Club, on a two year loan and returned to Zamalek at the beginning of the season and since then he established himself as a key player at the squad.

Zamalek are doing well this season at the league, having achieved 26 points after 11 games and leading the league table, six points ahead of the second placed, Smouha.

Yehia added “The player will only leave Zamalek if he received an offer to play in Europe. We are negotiating with Zamalek to improve the player’s contract.”
