CAF set up special stand for Al-Ahly's fans, 'Presentation' provides five jets

CAIRO – 8 November 2018: The Egyptian embassy in Tunisia is coordinating with the concerned authorities to secure the fans of Al-Ahly which will attend Al-Ahly’s match against ES Tunis.

Al Ahly team arrived in Tunis on Tuesday to face Esperance Sportive in the return leg of the CAF Champions League on Friday night.

Al Ahly defeated ES Tunis 3-1 in the first leg of CAF Champions League which was held at Alexandria's Borg el Arab stadium.

The embassy has intensified its efforts in this regard after the last hours witnessed an important meeting between Al-Ahly’s president, Mahmoud El-Khatib, head of the team's delegation, with Ambassador Nabil Habashy, Egypt's ambassador to Tunisia, to discuss all matters related to the match.

On the other hand, The African Football Confederation (CAF) has decided to set up a special stand for Al-Ahly’s fans.

Advertising and sports marketing agency, Presentation Sports, announced on Oct. 24 that they will provide five private jets to transfer Al-Ahly fans to Tunisia.

Presentation, which owns the sponsorship rights of the Egyptian Football Association (FA), won the sponsorship of Al-Ahly SC for the next four years on Monday Oct. 22.
