CAIRO – 2 November 2018: Security forces set up several inspection checkpoints along the road leading to Alexandria’s Borg El Arab Stadium as part of an array of security measures ahead of the clash between Al-Ahly and Tunisia’s Esperance Sportive on Friday night.

Borg El Arab Stadium hosts on Friday the Confederation of African Football (CAF) final between the Egyptian club, Al-Ahly, and Tunisia’s league 8th placed, ES Tunis.

Security forces stationed in the stadium announced earlier on Friday that it had intercepted an invalid ticket holder who was trying to enter the stadium.

Al-Ahly managed to qualify for the final after snatching a 3-2 win on aggregate over Algeria's ES Setif.

Around 50,000 fans are waiting to support Al-Ahly in this game. Al Ahly officials have decided to put 50,000 tickets on Wednesday to the Egyptian fans for the Tunisian Esperance Sportive match.
