CAIRO – 11 July 2018: Egypt suffered yet another loss in the Women’s Junior Handball Championship, but this time to Paraguay with a scoreline of 31-23.

After getting eliminated from the group stages by finishing bottom of a very tough group D, the Egyptians had to play Paraguay in order to face China for the 21st place playoffs.
The loss to Paraguay means that Egypt is guaranteed to finish bottom of the tournament, in the 23rd place.

The first half of the game was not a far reach from the Egyptians, as they managed to end it 12-13. But Paraguay managed to extend their lead in the second half, finishing the game with an eight-goal margin – 31 to 23.

Paraguay will face China next for the 21st class, as Egypt concluded their dismaying World Championship campaign, losing all of their games.
