CAIRO – 28 June 2018: Senegal will face Colombia on Thursday at 4 p.m. in their last game in the group stage at the 2018 World Cup.

After a 2-1 defeat in the first game with Japan, Colombia bounced back against Poland with a stunning 3-0 victory with a fine display from the Latin American team.

On the other hand, football fans from Africa put all their hopes on Senegal players; Senegal is the only African team that still has a chance to earn a spot in the second round after the four other African teams were eliminated.

Senegal won their first game against Poland 2-1 but they failed to secure a spot in the second round after a 2-2 draw against Japan in the second game.




Senegal manager, Aliou Cissé’s chosen squad for the game consists of: Khadim N'Diaye, Kalidou Koulibaly, Lamine Gassama, Youssouf Sabaly, Idrissa Gueye, Salif Sané, Cheikhou Kouyaté, Ismaïla Sarr, M'Baye Niang, Keita Baldé and Sadio Mane.

Colombia manager, José Pékerman’s chosen squad for the game consists of: David Ospina, Santiago Arias, Yerry Mina, Johan Mojica, Davinson Sánchez, Carlos Sánchez, James Rodríguez, Juan Fernando Quintero, Mateus Uribe, Radamel Falcao and Juan Cuadrado.
