Ashour misses Zanaco’s action on his brother’s death

CAIRO – 14 May 2017: Al Ahly SC midfielder Hossam Ashour left the final team training upon hearing of his brother’s death.

Ashour, was taking part in the team’s final training session ahead of their clash against Zambian Zanaco at Burg al-Arab stadium on Saturday.

Zambian champions frustrated the hosts and held them to a 0-0 draw in the first leg.

Al-Ahly SC issued a condolences’ tweet to Ahsour and his family on the loss of his brother.

Al-Ahly was previously drawn against Morocco’s Wydad Athletic Club, the Coton Sport from Cameroon, and the Zambian Zonaco.
