Egypt dominates squash world rankings

CAIRO – 1 May 2018: Eleven Egyptians are in the squash top 10 ranking for men and women, which was published on Tuesday by the Professional Squash Association.

PSA announced the May world rankings for men and women on its official website. Seven Egyptian men made it on the list, and the top three are Egyptians. Also, Egyptian women occupied the top three spots of the women’s list, which included four Egyptians total.

The men’s top 10 came as follows:

1. MOHAMED ELSHORBAGY (Egypt)
2. ALI FARAG (Egypt)
3. MARWAN ELSHORBAGY (Egypt)
4. GREGORY GAULTIER (France)
5. TAREK MOMEN (Egypt)
6. SIMON RÖSNER (Germany)
7. KARIM ABDEL GAWAD (Egypt)
8. RAMY ASHOUR (Egypt)
9. MOHAMED ABOUELGHAR (Egypt)
10. PAUL COLL (New Zealand)




Nour El Sherbini managed to continue leading the women’s world ranking, which came as follows:

2. RANEEM EL WELILY (Egypt)
3. NOUR EL TAYEB (Egypt)
4. JOELLE KING (New Zealand)
5. NOURAN GOHAR (Egypt)
