CAIRO – 29 April 2018: Hussein El-Shahat, the Egyptian play maker, who is loaned from Masr Lel-Maqassa to UAE’s Ain FC, was named the best play maker of the current Emirati league.

El-Shahat who joined Ain FC in the mid season transfer market on January, was named the best play maker of the Emirati league by Emarat Al Youm newspaper, as it said that El-Shahat succeeded in creating eight goals in the only 10 matches he played for Ain. The Egyptian overcame his team-mates Caio who created seven goals after participating in 18 matches, and Marcus Berg who also made seven goals in 20 games.

“El-Shahat leading the top assists’ list after 10 games only reflects the great abilities which the player possesses; the abilities that made Ain FC renew his loan contract to three years, after he joined the team for a one-year loan deal coming from Masr Lel-Maqasa, also the player didn’t stop creating goals but he scored seven critical goals for the team,” the newspaper added.

The Egyptian midfielder won with Ain FC the Emirati league title, and the team is scheduled to face Al-Wasl FC next Thursday in Abu Dhabi, where the team will play in the final of UAE President's Cup.
