Dortmund fans are most loyal

CAIRO – 14 April 2018: Borussia Dortmund fans have recorded the highest attendance in the five European major league leagues in the current season so far.

The average attendance of Dortmund fans was 79,248 in each game. German giants Bayern Munich came in second with 75,000, a narrow difference from the third-placed Manchester United, which recorded 74,960 fans, according to Bleacher Report.

Premier League’s Tottenham Hotspurs came in fourth (68,324) and Real Madrid fifth (66,982), followed by Barcelona (63,172).

Meanwhile Liverpool, with Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, came in 14th place with 53,185 fans.

German clubs occupied eight of the top 20, while the Bundesliga had the highest attendance among the major five leagues.
