Turki Al-Sheikh assigns Sami Al-Jaber as president of Al-Hilal
The General Authority for Saudi Sport, headed by Turki Al Sheikh, announced that it accepted Nawaf’s resignation on Friday night.
The Saudi authority assigned Al-Jaber as Al-Hilal’s president; Turki posted on his official Twitter account: “My dear brother Sami Al-Jaber is Al-Hilal’s president. In his football career, he wrote his name in gold in the history of Saudi sport, and I have no doubt that he will do more in his career in the presidency of his beloved club Al-Hilal, and will achieve the aspirations of the fans and their dreams.”
Al-Jaber is expected to form his board of directors next week.

Sami Al-Jaber is one of Al-Hilal’s and Saudi national team’s veteran legends. He was Al-Hilal’s coach in the 2013/2014 season before he resigned a year later.
