CAIRO – 30 March 2018: Tottenham Hotspur Argentinean manager Mauricio Pochettino revealed on Thursday that he is not sure if the team’s striker, Harry Kane, will be available for the game against Chelsea or not.

“I think it is difficult now to say ‘yes’ or ‘no’, to be involved or not in the game. I cannot say no but I cannot say yes,” the manager told the press on Thursday.

Kane had missed England’s last two friendly games against Netherlands and Italy as he picked an ankle ligament injury against Bournemouth earlier this month.

Pochettino added, “We need to assess him, he is very positive and he is doing very well. Every day he is improving. We are so positive about his recovery."

Tottenham are facing Chelsea on Sunday at the Premier League at Stamford Bridge stadium. This game is so important for Pochettino and his team to secure a qualifying position to the UEFA Champions League next season.

The Argentinean manager spoke about the clash against Chelsea, saying, “For us, three points would be fantastic and put us in a very good position in the table.”

Tottenham have picked 61 points to place fourth in the League and they are five points ahead of the fifth-placed Chelsea.

The top four at the Premier League will earn a direct qualification to the UEFA Champions League.
