Pharaohs travel to Switzerland on March 20

CAIRO – 5 March 2018: Ehab Lehita, director of the Egyptian national football team, said that the team will travel to Switzerland on March 20 in a private jet, where they will face Portugal and Greece on March 23 and 27, respectively, as part of the preparations for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

“The team will travel by private plane on March 20. The players traveling will be determined by the coaching staff led by Argentine Hector Cooper,” he stated.

Lehita also has revealed that June 10 will be the date that the Egyptian national team will fly to Russia to participate in the most important tournament in the world – the World Cup. Egypt will start its journey in the World Cup facing Uruguay on June 15, followed by Russia on June 19 and finally Saudi Arabia on June 25.

In another context, Enas Mazhar, media coordinator of the national team, said, “The number of journalists and Egyptian TV channels to cover the World Cup is very huge, as the number has reached nearly 3,000 people, which is a very large number.”
