CAIRO – 18 February 2018: Romelu Lukaku is practically a newcomer to Manchester United and already has his next destination in mind. And the Belgian striker has acknowledged in statements in an interview with the HNL, that his intention is none other than to retire at the club that he started at; Anderlecht.

"My dream was always to play for Anderlecht, before I finish my career, I will definitely come back, I can promise, I had a wonderful time there," admitted Lukaku as he walked through the training fields of his former club.

The top scorer of the Belgian team left Anderlecht in 2011 heading to Chelsea, where he did not enjoy the expected success. However, after three good seasons with Everton, he has made a name for himself in the Premier League as one of the best strikers today, with a record of 97 goals in 212 games.

In spite of arriving at Manchester United this summer for around €85 million, nostalgia could cause Lukaku to hang up his boots in his hometown of Anderlecht.
