CAIRO – 26 January 2018: Tottenham's coach, Mauricio Pochettino, said he would rather work on farm in his homeland Argentina than managing Arsenal or Barcelona.
It seems that Pochettino cares about club rivalries as much as the fans.

The Argentinean coach spent time in charge at Espanyol, before coming to the Premier League and there is a fierce rivalry between Espanyol and Barcelona.

"I am never going to be manager of Barcelona or Arsenal because I am so identified with Tottenham and Espanyol,” Pochettino told reporters. “I grew up in Newell's Old Boys and will never manage Rosario Central.”

Same fierce rivalry is present between both North London clubs, Arsenal and Tottenham.

"That is my decision because I prefer to work on my farm in Argentina than in some places. But my commitment is massive in this club. I am working like I am going to be here forever," he said.

"But in the end, it is like the players, you never know what is going to happen in football. There are a lot of rumors about this, about that,” he added.

Tottenham is currently fifth in the Premier League table after 24 rounds; two points behind Liverpool.

Tottenham faces Newport County on Saturday in the FA Cup fourth round.
