CAIRO - 18 January 2018: Ismaily lost 2-0 to Arab Contractors on Wednesday night in the Egyptian League at the Arab Contractors’ stadium. Ismaily continued their poor results as they ended their game on Monday against Al-Ittihad in the league with a goalless draw.

Ismaily had many chances to open the score through Karim Bambo and Ibrahim Hassan, but Arab Contractors’ goalkeeper, Mahmoud Aboel Souod, saved all their attempts.

Arab Contractors opened the score before half time through Taher Mohamed after a beautiful play between Arab Contractors players.

In the second half, Arab Contractors surprised their opponents after Mohamed Samir doubled the score for the hosts through a free kick to make the mission harder for Ismaily.

Ismaily players failed to score in the remaining minutes to end the game 2-0 and lose their second game this season in the league.

Ismaily stayed in the second position in the league with 41 points, only a point behind the leaders, Al-Ahly, who still have two postponed games.
