CAIRO – 15 January 2017: Following Philippe Coutinho’s departure from Liverpool to Barcelona, Liverpool fan, Kevin Murphy released a new chant that went viral between Liverpool fans.

The song lyrics to the tune of “Sugar, honey, honey” by The Archies are “Salah, Mane Mane and Roberto Firmino but we sold Coutinho but it doesn’t matter at all actually because we have got Salah, Mane Mane and Robbie Firmino.”

Liverpool fans started chanting the song during their 4-3 victory over Manchester City on Sunday at the Premier League.

Murphy became famous after the song was played on Soccer AM program on Sky Sports before being highly received by Liverpool fans against Manchester City.

Liverpool defeated Manchester City 4-3 to end their 23 game unbeaten stint in the Premier League.

Liverpool opened the score after nine minutes through Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Leroy Sane equalized before the half time.

In the second half, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah scored three goals to make the score 4-1 before Man City scored two goals through Elkay Gundogan and Sergio Aguero to end the game 4-3.
