CAIRO – 8 January 2018: Manchester City’s coach, Pep Guardiola, appeared satisfied in the press room at Etihad Stadium after City beat Burnley 4-1 in a FA Cup match.
The next rival to Manchester City will be Liverpool, who will be without Philippe Coutinho, as he joined FC Barcelona for €142 million.

“We wanted to continue in this prestigious competition,” said the Catalan coach.
Speaking about the remarkable signing of Coutinho for Barcelona, Guardiola did not hesitate to highlight the quality of the midfielder. “If we speak in terms of quality; Coutinho is an extraordinary footballer,” he said.

The Spanish coach also talked about the performance of Sergio Agüero.
“The first two goals were fantastic, both the assistance and the definition are great…For me it is an honor to be able to train a player like Agüero. I understand that the moments when you do not play are sad. His great quality is in the area. In the first half he was not very involved, but in the second half he had the ability to score two goals,” Guardiola said.

On to the topic of the return of David Silva, he stated, "David is a brutal legend of this club, for everything he has done and for his ability to adapt his qualities to this physical game. I'm happy because he made the statement, and now everyone knows it. We are very happy with his performance once again.”
