Al-Ahly women’s volleyball squad to meet Al-Shams in championship semi-finals

CAIRO – 14 April 2017: Al-Ahly women’s volleyball squad has qualified for the semi-finals of the 2017 Women's African Club Championships, overcoming the Algerian Petroleum Complex.

Al-Ahly is set to encounter the other Egyptian contingent to the championship, Al-Shams SC, Friday night in the offset of the semi-finals, which means an Egyptian team will be present in the finals.

The 2017 Women's African Club Championships is taking place April 6-16 in Tunisia.

In December, Al-Ahly women’s volleyball team won the Arab Women’s Clubs Volleyball Championship title.
