CAIRO – 3 January 2018: Juventus captain and goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has recommended Milan's young goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma to sign with Juventus.

Asked about this possibility, the veteran goalkeeper was very clear, saying, "If you come to Juventus, you're never wrong.”

However, he preferred not to make further assessments on this particular case, stating, "I cannot give advice to Donnarumma, because I do not live his situation; I do not know his emotional relationship with Milan."

Buffon analyzed the last failures harvested with Juventus and Italy’s national team.

In an interview published in La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper, Buffon admitted that he has more regrets for having lost that final of the Champions League, 4-1 against Real Madrid last summer, than for the elimination suffered with the Italian team in the play-off against Sweden before the World Cup.

"I would play the Cardiff final again, because against Sweden we have given 80 or 90%; against Madrid we lacked unity in the second half – something that has always been our strong point," said the Italian goalkeeper.
