CAIRO – 20 December 2017: The Zamalek team recovered quickly after losing 1-0 against Isamily in the last round, where they defeated Al Ittihad by two goals in the 14th week of the Egyptian Premier League.

Ghana’s Benjamin Acheampong scored Zamalek’s two goals in his first debut with the team this season.

The first goal came in the first minute, over 51 seconds in, with a great header after a cross from Moayad Ajan.

The second goal was scored from a through ball by Ahmed Madbouly to Acheampong, who scored to announce the second goal in the 57th minute.

Zamalek raised his score to 22 points in the fourth place, but Al Ittihad has 13 points and dropped to 16th place.

Zamalek will play against the Arab Contractors on December 24, but Al Ittihad will be against Tala'ea El-Gaish on December 25.
