Cairo - 24 November 2017: Leon Goretzka, currently at Schalke 04, has received another offer from the Premier League. Arsenal, as reported by the Daily Mirror, has placed a bid for the midfielder, and many other clubs have also shown interest.

Goretzka, 22, is willing to leave Schalke 04, but it seems that his heart is set on the Premier League, discarding options on the continent, including a bid from FC Barcalona.

According to the 'Daily Mirror', Leon Goretzka would be the replacement for Mesut Ozil at Arsenal if the World Cup winner finally decides to leave the London club.

Arsenal will face competition from Manchester City coached by Pep Guardiola and Liverpool coached by Jurgen Klopp, who have both also shown interest in Goretzka.

Schalke 04 has made a renewal offer to Goretzka but it seems that he is not willing to accept. The German club, however, has already stated that they are not willing to sell the German midfielder in the next winter football market and will stay with Goretzka until the end of his contract, even though he would leave on a free transfer.
