Egypt, Tunisia youth ministers mull cooperation

SHARM EL SHEIKH - 5 November 2017: Youth and Sports Minister Khaled Abdel Aziz discussed on Sunday with his Tunisian counterpart Majdouline Cherni possible cooperation.

Abdel Aziz said during the meeting, held on the sidelines of the World Youth Forum in Sharm el Sheikh, that Egypt is ready to welcome more youth delegations.

"Such visits enhance the exchange of cultures and deepen contact channels between Egyptian and Tunisian youths," the minister said.

The meeting also touched on a new law on sports in Egypt, that comes in line with international Olympic charters.

The Tunisian minister stressed the role of youths in developing societies in all fields and combating terrorism. She also welcomed youth cooperation with Egypt.
