National beach soccer team defeats UAE 4-3

CAIRO – 1 November 2017: Egypt’s national beach soccer team defeated UAE in the second round of the group stage of Beach Soccer International Cup, also known as Huawei Beach Soccer International Cup held in Dubai, UAE.

The national beach soccer team defeated the United Arab Emirates team 4-3 in front of their fans on Wednesday in the second round of the Huawei Beach Soccer International Cup. Egypt lost in the first round to the world champions Brazil 11-3 on Tuesday, while the national team is scheduled to face Portugal on Thursday in the next game in the last round of the group stage.

Egypt is in second place with three points and has to win its next match against Portugal to be able to qualify to the next round of the tournament. The national team made its best results at the Beach Soccer International Cup on 2015 as the Pharaohs managed to occupy the fourth place in the tournament.
