CAIRO – 30 October 2017 : Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy praised the team’s new manager, Claude Puel, after he led Leicester in a 2-0 win over Everton in the Premier League on Sunday.
“The gaffer has come in, and he said for this game he didn't want to change much," Vardy told Sky Sports on Monday.

Vardy scored Leicester’s first goal in the game after a great cross from his Algerian teammate Riyad Mahrez.

Vardy added, “A few tactical tweaks and it has paid off. The lads have dug in and we've got the three points. We'll be in next week and we'll see what the manager brings in."

Leicester City’s board appointed Puel as their new coach, as the team suffered from the start of the season under Craig Shakespeare’s command.

Vardy spoke about the game against Everton, saying, “It was very interesting. We played well in the first half; it was a little more difficult in the second half with Everton trying to come back into the game. "

Leicester City faces Stoke City on Saturday in the Premier League at bet365 Stadium.
