CAIRO – 20 October 2017: Eden Hazard was one of the last players to get acquainted with the list of 30 nominations for the 2017 Golden Ball. In addition to the Belgian player, also nominated was his Chelsea teammate, N'Golo Kanté, and the favorites to the prize are Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar.

The nomination is the recognition of the impeccable contribution of Hazard to Chelsea in the past period, when the Blues won the Premier League.

Along with Kanté, the 26-year-old Belgian was one of the best players of last season, after scoring 16 goals in the English Premier League.

However, Hazard has confessed that he "has no chance" to claim the trophy and believes that his team should win all the titles available to claim their individual honor and be thus recognized.

"I have no chance [to win]," said the midfielder to Sky Sports. "I think there are a lot of players better than me, but I'm happy to be on the list. If I'm among the 30 nominees, it's thanks to Chelsea and my teammates, who help me every day to give my best."
The Belgian rebalanced the game against Roma 3-3 with a second goal in the second part of the match.
