CAIRO – 04 October 2017:Carlo Ancelotti decided to rest from managing this year after he got sacked from Bayern Munich when he travelled to Jerusalem to train kids from different religions as part of the Assist for Peace project.

“The project is to bring together all the kids of all religions and to play together in a really special and difficult place," Ancelotti told press on Tuesday.

Ancelotti added, “it is to help a new generation to build a new relationship together. The kids were very happy. Sport helps build new relationships and a respect of others."

Ancelotti got sacked from his position in Bayern Munich after the humiliating 3-0 defeat in the UEFA Champions League match against Paris Saint Germain on Tuesday September 27th.

Ancelotti spoke about his future, saying, “I want to manage. Not this season; maybe next season (either) in the Premier League or at another club. The only thing I want to do is to train."

Ancelotti has managed many great clubs throughout his career, like AC Milan, Parma, Real Madrid and Chelsea. He won the Champions League three times in 2003 and 2007 with AC Milan and in 2014 with Real Madrid.
