CAIRO – 26 September 2017 – The matches of the second round of the UEFA Champions League will be played on Tuesday and Wednesday evening.

The eight Tuesday matches will all be held at the same time – 8:45 p.m. Cairo local time – in eight different European countries. Group E will witness the matches of Sevilla against Maribor, which will be held in Spain at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium, while Liverpool will give Spartak Moscow a visit at its home stadium, Otkrytiye Arena.

Manchester City will host Shakhtar Donetsk at Ittihad Stadium in one of the Group F matches. The other match will be between Napoli and Feyenoord, which will be played in Italy at San Paolo Stadium.

Group G includes a team participating for the first time in the Champions League after it qualified from the Bundesliga after achieving second place. That team is Rasen Ballsport Leipzig, which travels to Turkey to face Besiktas in the second round of the Champions League. Meanwhile, in the same group, AS Monaco will face Portugal’s FC Porto.

The top match of day one of the second round of group stages will be among the matches of group H, which will gather Borussia Dortmund and the holder of Champions League title, Real Madrid. The match will be played at Signal Iduna Park at 8:45 p.m. Cairo local time as well. The other match of group H will be between APOEL Nicosia from Greece and Tottenham Hotspurs.
