CAIRO – 23 September 2017: Lionel Messi (FC Barcelona), Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid) and Neymar Junior (Paris Saint Germain) are the three finalists for the Best of the 2017 FIFA Football Awards, which will be presented on October 23 at a gala to be held at the London Palladium.

Messi and Cristiano are repeating their candidacy, while Neymar is taking the podium instead of Gianluigi Buffon, who is nominated this time for best goalkeeper of the year.

FIFA announced the names of the finalists in the different categories of the “Best” awards. In the Best Coach category is Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane with two Italians, Antonio Conte (Chelsea) and Masimiliano Allegri (Juventus).

Here are the nominees for each award from FIFA:
Best FIFA Player/Men:

Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid / Portugal), Lionel Messi (FC Barcelona / Argentina) and Neymar Junior (PSG / Brazil).

Best FIFA Player/Women:

Deyna Castellanos (Santa Clarita Blue Heat / USA), Carli Lloyd (Manchester City / USA) and Lieke Martens (FC Barcelona / Netherlands).

Best FIFA Men's Football Coach:

Zinedine Zidane (Real Madrid), Masimiliano Allegri (Juventus) and Antonio Conte (Chelsea).

Best FIFA Women's Soccer Coach:

Nils Nielsen (Denmark), Gerard Precheur (Olympique Lyon / France) and Sarina Wiegman (Netherlands).

Best FIFA Goalkeeper:

Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus / Italy), Keylor Navas (Real Madrid / Costa Rica) and Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich / Germany).
