CAIRO – 9 August 2017: The Egyptian Volleyball U-23 team will be facing Egypt’s U-19 volleyball team on 9 August. This tournament is in preparation for the upcoming U-23 Volleyball tournament. They will meet at the Cairo Stadium Arena.

The U-23 volleyball team will play against Turkey twice on 13 and 14 August in preparation for the World Cup.

The Egyptian National team will face Japan in their first match of the tournament in Hall 1 of the Cairo Stadium Arena on 18 August at 9 p.m local time.

The championship includes 12 teams divided into two groups. The first group includes Egypt, Poland, Japan, Brazil, Cuba and Mexico, and the second group includes Turkey, Russia, Argentina, Algeria, China and Iran.

It is worth mentioning also that the Egyptian superstar Hisham Abbas will be the singer for the opening ceremony of the U-23 Volleyball World Cup. The tournament will be held in Cairo from 18 through 26 August.
