CAIRO – 6 August 2017: The Egyptian junior handball team is set to fly on August 7 to compete in the Junior World Handball Championship to be held in Georgia from August 8 to August 20.

The Egyptian junior handball team is finishing preparations for the upcoming championship before traveling on August 7.

Egypt will play their first team on August 8 against European giants Denmark, before playing against Sweden on August 10. The Egyptian team will then have a tough match against France on August 11, before going head to head against Bahrain on August 13. The Egyptians will play their last match on August 14 against Norway.

On a similar note, Egypt’s youth team, managed by Wael Abdel Atty, came in 17th place on July 27 after beating Brazil with a score of 28-27 in the U-23 Handball World Cup.
