CAIRO – 5August 2017: Manchester City defeated West Ham United FC 3-0 in a friendly match in the Icelandic capital Reykjavik on Friday in preparation for the new season.

The first half ended with a single goal scored by Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesús in the 8th minute, giving City the lead. In the second half, Manchester City scored two more goals by Argentinean striker Sergio Aguero in the 57th minute and English national team forward Raheem Sterling in the 71st minute of the game.

The match witnessed the participation of both teams’ new singings, as Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson Moraes played the whole 90 minutes of the game, while former Real Madrid right back Danilo participated in the match before City coach Pep Guardiola substituted him in the 59th minute of the game. On the other side, new signings of West Ham United FC participated in the game, including Mexican forward Javier Hernandez and former Manchester City players Joe Hart and Pablo Zabaleta.
