Dates, stadiums announced for Egyptian Cup semi-finals

CAIRO – 31 July 2017: The Egyptian Cup Organizing Committee announced on Sunday the dates and stadiums of the Egyptian Cup semi-finals.

The committee postponed the match between Zamalek SC and Al-Masry from August 8 to August 9. The Egyptian FA sent a statement to both clubs, informing them that the match will be played at Alexandria Stadium on August 9 at 8 p.m. Egyptian time.

On the other hand, Al-Ahly SC is set to go head to head against Smouha SC in the semi-finals of the Egyptian Cup on August 9. This date is set to be scheduled if Al-Ahly SC gets out of the semi-finals of the Arab Club Championship. Lastly, Borg Al-Arab Stadium will host Al-Ahly’s match in the semi-finals of the Egyptian Cup and the Arab Club Championships.

On a similar note, the Egyptian FA announced the matches will go to extra time and then penalties if there is a draw at the end of match time.
