CAIRO – 29 July 2017: Ibrahim Salah said during the Al Nassr FC pre-match press conference that the players are very sad with Zamalek’s current situation in the Arab Championship.

Zamalek vice captain Ibrahim Salah attended the press conference before the match against the Saudi team Al Nassr in the Arab Championship and expressed his great sadness over the bad situation of the team in the Arab Championship by being in the last place of group B with only a single point.

Salah said that the players are the losers of the current situation, which is being exposed to the team, stressing at the same time that even if Zamalek played the game with the youth team, it will not leave the tournament with a single point, stressing the ability of the team to win the Saturday match, according to Zamalek’s official website.

The Zamalek midfielder said, “One of the reasons for the decline of the team is the state of exhaustion.” He stated that the team has not had a break for three seasons and needs to rest, stressing that captain Mahmoud Abdel Razek Shikabala sits with the players to talk about the current situation, as Zamalek doesn’t have any other tournaments but the Egyptian Cup to achieve this season, which the team seeks to maintain its title for the fifth year in a row.

“The current situation raises the sadness of everyone, which makes everyone focus to provide the best, especially with the Egyptian Cup semi-final against Al Masry,” the Zamalek vice captain said.
